Recorded over a two year period using iPhone 3GS and iPhone 5 these are live recordings direct to mobile phone, then lightly equalised and a bit of compression and reverb added as the only processes. Morning Star is the only exception recorded at MiaCon with Neal again live. Initially tried to record these in a studio but it proved difficult as the songs did not seem fully ready with the exception of Morning Star, so began a process where songs were recorded and versions of the disc put out in limited editions until this now titled Black Country Raw Vol 2. Some of the songs are simple and two of them began life as spontaneous live recordings where the audience shouted and the first 4 words were used to perform a song immediately. I will leave the guess work up to you the listeners as to which they are, send a mail if you want with your guessing.
